How many Top 25 teams do you have to beat to get into the top 25. Wisconsin beat Maryland and Alabama and still are not in the top 25. The Pepperdine loss really hurt us. |

It depends on strength of schedule...
I'm anti pre-season rankings for college sports... the are BS.
Clemson is 9-4 but they play a weak schedule so they are not up there...
But despite having gone there, I grew up in Maryland, so above all else, am a Terps fan... |

The Badgers got spanked by Pepperdine and Marquette. They were only 6 votes away from making it this week.
There are a lot of good teams up there, and votes look more at losses to bad teams, than wins over good teams I'm afraid.
What is in your favor, ESPN's version of the RPI has Wisconsin 12th. (Amazingly has my Illini 23rd).
So give them time. They will get there. Especialyl once teams start losing more. |

Good Job West Virginia. First week in the Top 25 and you get bent over the knee and spanked by Villanova. |
