Pirates! is very much like the original Pirates! or Pirates! Gold. The graphics are tremendously better, and romancing the Governors' daughters now requires a challenging ballroom dancing sequence, but the rest of the game feels very much the same.

Okay...so how was the original Pirates! and Pirates! Gold?

Well I just beat HL2 today... I must say, althought the game kicked major ass, the end was rather dissappointing -- I expected more after all the stuff I'd been through in the game. Sad

EDIT: Hehe, this is a screenshot of when I was in Nova Prospekt with Alyx. About 50 gaurds were coming to get me, so I hid in this little cubby thing with my shotgun. They ran it front of it, they died. All 50 or so of 'em -- this is the pile of bodies and amm-a-nition afterwards. Razz Laughing Twisted Evil Shocked

Hehehehe

I tried that and kept running out of shells....

Thats a funny looking pile of guns and ammunition. It really gives perspective of how many were coming after you.

You can out of shells? When you ran out, you were supposed to run over and pick up a few of the shotguns they dropped -- although that made the pile of ammo smaller, it made the pile of bodies (and blood spatters) bigger. Cool

I just got Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and have been fooling around with that. Street fighter was too expensive still, and I wanted to get some "not have to think" fighting game.

Well, i'm done with Shadowgate and Déjà Vu... so now i'm replaying FarCry and you know, playing it a second time tells me that Doom3 is really not that great after all. In order, i'd put them like this :

1- HL²
2- FarCry
6- Doom3

Mr. Green

Oh and i'm playing MOH:Pacific Assault too. That game is wicked. It's better than Doom3.

After finally getting the 100% "perfect" ending for FFX2, I've just been amusing myself with Katamary Damacy.

Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines? Love it! Almost through playing as a Malkavian (I love his armor); gonna go through and play it again as a different clan so I can get normal dialogue options.

I can't stop playing FarCry. Even though I already finished it I go back and play levels I like over and over. Very therapeutic.

Oh and Unreal Tournament.
