I'm going to be flying to San Antonio this weekend, and am thinking of bringing a USB key and my digital camera. Does X-Rays affect memory sticks or flash media? And if so, is it damaging? If all it does is erase things I'll leave the memory stick home and just burn my pictures to a CD before flying back.

I imagine, however, that it probably doesn't matter, since people pass their laptops through. I thought I'd ask anyway though.

Oh, thanks for reminding me. I think I am going to take my farm offline while I am gone. So the folks I just passed can have fun passing me back.
