Yae the black is cool minus the U2 part.

I am kind of surprised it took this long to make color ones. Is the battery life improved at all?

Yes they have updated the battery to 8 - 12 hours. I'm tempted to buy the 60g but I just bought a 40g in June and hate to take a loss on it.

A few months ago Apple insisted that there will be no 60GB iPod ever. Now see.. a 60GB iPod. F*ckers!

Now I'm sitting here with my ancient 4G. Damn you Apple! Cussing out

I am not interested in getting the "photo" version, so if any of you are thinking about selling an i-pod PM and lets see if we could work something out.

I still don't see the facisnation with IPod's. Of course I didn't do much (read: any) research, but that's because I thought they were just Apple's version of MP3 players with massive amounts of storage. I don't need that many songs with me at any given time, especially if it's going to cost me upwards of $200.

I also use mine to backup my laptop and as a firewire boot drive
