I have 2 Procom Technologies 7 Device wholly enclosed external SCSI enclosures each populated with 7 (Seven!) TEAC 16X CDR's. Include all cables and an Adaptec 2940U2W Controller card and cables. These units are brand new and have only been used for demo purposes. Drop me an email w/ an offer, they're going on eBay in a week 2 huge internal fans, glass locking front doors, sliding sides ... They are VERY VERY nice units, and would make GREAT RAID towers, or maybe put burners into them and go nuts, i don't know. |

:sniff:
won't anyone buy my SCSI enclosures?
They aren't the wimpy, limp ones made out of computer cases or anything. they're like little network server enclosure cabinets - same thick steel, glass doors, power supplies, big ol' fans to cool the 7 SCSI CDR's ...
And like i said, the whole shootin' match comes with all cables, probably some extra cables actually, and an Adaptec 2940U2W ...
Any takers? You're in luck! I just got laid off! whoo hoo! now it's a buyer's market!!!
Reply via email, as I get lost and sometimes don't get back too often
Thanks! |

Post some pictures ... Hmmm. Well, XP Pro refuses to allow my Logitech QuickCam to work, that's one reason. XP Pro also won't let my Visoneer Paperport 3100 USB scanner work. Seems it'll only work with 98 or 95. It won't even work w/ ME or 2000. SO there's 2 reasons right off the top of my pointed brain. Now I ordered a cheap digital camera, so who knows what excitement the coming days may bring! It's supposed to show up today, actually. |

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOkay i FOUND a picture of it!
how the heck do i put a picture on here?
Physical description:
GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS Formatted Capacity (MB per drive) 650
CD-ROM Interface SCSI / SCSI-2
Drive Form Factor (inches) 5.25
Embedded Cache Buffer (KB) 256
MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Loading Mechanism Tray
Eject Mechanism Electronic
DISCS
Acceptable Formats
CD-Audio
CD-ROM
CD-ROM XA
Photo CD
CD-I
VIDEO CD
CD+(plus)
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
H x W x D (inches) 18.75 x 8.75 x 13
H x W x D (cm) 47.62 x 22.22 x 33.02
Weight (w/o drives) (lbs/kgs) 28/12.7
Weight (w/drives) (lbs/kgs) 46/21
The Drives inside the enclosures (14 of them) are TOSHIBA XM-5301B SCSI 4X NOT TEAC 16X As I said before. Yep, that sucks, but hey, they're SCSI, and there hasn't been any real CS's made that reaquire speeds over 4x to work, especially in an office environment where these babies would be used. Law office w/ case law cds, Library, or someone's FTP server / BBS for file downloads, 4X is fine for all that.
Okay now i gotta get this drive back in ... |

the instructions say to bracket the img w/ the little commandee things /img and whatnot ... and to put the "LOCACTION" in between them. so what is the location of an arbitrary image sitting on my desktop? how do i UPLOAD the image to the forum? |

You will have to upload the pictures to your personal web space or webspace you have access to and then link to that file.
like this (img)http://members.home.net/ubergeist/sarasmall.jpg(/img)
but replace the parenthese with brackets.

Just saw the post about your quickcam...try uninstalling it and let windows xp install its default drivers, if that doesnt work, try the win2k drivers...I have them for the quickcam express, but its a large d/l...I can email them to you no prob though if your mail server can handle it

OKEY DOKEY! I think i have this figured out. Here goes:
If it worked, then you are looking at a .jpg of the model I've got here. And note: It is NOT the "Novell Netware 4 Only" model w/ the BNC connectors in the back.
Okay, lets hit Post and see if this worked ... |
