In my dreams. Damn, I miss the start of Hockey season so I went back through last season's pictures and put THIS together. Here is the latest news. Anyone else got the Hockey blues? |

Hockey is dead to me. I am not putting emotional energy into it any more.
Until next year.. |

I dont think we want me to get started on this. All I have to say on the subject to keep my blood from boiling is this.
Bettman and Daly are both at fault. Fire them both. |

I use to love baseball, but when they went on strike and missed the world series, I stopped supporting their overpaid salaries.
We have a USHL hockey team in Green Bay. I love going to those games.
Lets face it, why do we bother to support any sport with our hard earned money. They are all a bunch of overpriced cry babies.
I stopped watching Pro basketball many years ago. They dont play as hard as they did in college. College basketball is much more exciting than the pros. |

I went to a AHL home opener for the Manchester Monarchs friday night. The hockey was better then last years, and I did see a couple pros out there too, so that was a nice surprise.
If I can't hace the NHL this is the next best thing. |

We used to have a Minor League Team here. The players all have to have Day Jobs, that's how small a league they were. The West Palm Beach Blaze won their League Championships 3 years in a row, during their only 3 years in existence, then they went bankrupt.
..Those were the days my friend.. |

It was cold last night so I put my jacket on for the first time since last year. I found a Capitals ticket in one of the pockets.
*sigh* |

i do i am forced to go to ahl games all this year. since i live a few hours away from ottawa's farm team its alright i guess. its kind of upper AHL because a majority of the players are NHL players. although you can get a whole lot better seats in AHL hockey. seats row AA behind the new are $15 so thats a plus. |

I prefer going to minor league games. I will be going to another Portland Pirates game this weekend. I watched them beat the monarchs in an exhibition game at the beginning of the month, and I will probably watch them beat the Monarchs again on Sunday. Although I just checked the schedule, and they moved the Saturday game against the Wolf Pack up to 4:00...I wonder if I can get my girlfriend to go to both games. |
