Well I say it's a revamped version of "Day Of The Defeat" mod for Half Life. Nothing new at all...and there are some Q3A mods which are getting better, i.e Urban Terror, and is for free. But the full game version for wolfie should be even more better!

This game is badass. I really need for the full version to come out though. I fell like I'm in the twilight zone with the same map over and over and over and over and over and over...................

Played it and it has problems. Weapons are the same for each side. Hmmmm allied soldier with a german sniper rifle?

Sniper is ok, way too much kick, I dont think you'd be using scope to view the stars after you fire.

Also servers are LAGGING way too much. Cable modem is like a 1200bps.

Good idea, poor effort. The Q3 engine is ok, nothing to brag about. But hey its free for now. I'll go back to Q3 till the 2nd release

edh - hence the reason it is a multiplayer "TEST".

Dont get me wrong. I know its a test and from what I see it has potiental. But I don't think they are even in a beta mode yet. Hey at least it didn't crash and burn my system. After all for the hype I saw, it should have been better.

You want to really really impress me then allow the player to lay down and shoot as a true sniper would. Say increase the accuracy and slow the reload. Then some muzzle flashes.

Actually, i thought the game was pretty well developed. I mean, yeah the soldier has more killing potential. he's a soldier. The medic is not. yeah, if you put him up against a soldier, he's toast.

The skill in a game life Wolf is to play as a team. Good communication between all players. lutenients reload the snipers at the start...medics drop some med kits in a meeting area....soldiers lay down cover fire....lutenients call in some air strikes...

If you watch a team that has been playing with each other for a few games, its amazing. Its like clockwork in some cases. I know when i play with my roomate, i'll snipe and he'll be a lut. he'll reload me at the start. I'll get 3-4 kills before he even leaves the beach. PATH CLEARED...he runs up, engineers run up...bomb the openings...snipe the gunners....up the ladder... fun stuff.

In terms of the engine, its a good example of the quake engine. Few visual things here and there, but the quake engine is pretty proven. No major bugs to speak of.

imho anyway.

I thought about that but most of them were more worried about themselves and never organized very well.

Fido if someone just flashed the needle at ya and left it was prolly me.[Very Happy]
