|
I been searching for a mod like this for my own PC, mine isn't quite like this one - but its damn cool!
One
Two
Three
Four - my Case (diffrent color and shorter)
I have the Chieftec Dragon - Full Tower. My varitation of this kind of mod is to mount the Screen on my doorway to the drives, and load it as a second monitor. Run visualizations on it, or figure out someway or if I can get Zabaware's HAL assitant to be the main feature. |

I hope your refering to G:I, I of course have not done any of these yet. I am still working out my Demon mod for my case. Plus the one I am seeking to do is taking an old LCD screen from a mini-TV, like 2.5 inch screen and mounting it on the case door. I got this idea when one of those monitors went on sale for 50 bucks where I work! These however, I felt in a weird mild way could solve a lot of issues I am having with monitors
I mean how fricking cool would it be to have a 6 to 9 inch monitor mounted on the side to a secondary box your running for small applications or just as a server?
I like the idea of doing a dual monitor setup with the secondary monitor running some sort of assistantprogram. |

Err... my bad I do like the idea of a small screen to do the things your suggesting - here hoping we'll be seeing your pics the next time - w f! |

I've considered doing roughly the same thing that you're planning to do, and found that a lot of people also use the LCD displays ment for a PSone. Apparently they are designed to also take VGA video versus using S-Video or RCA in. Let me know how your experience goes, I might actually go through with doing it with one of my boxen. |

What can't be solved with the proper amount of RDX?

I'd really like to make it spring up out of the top of the box. I'm going to find a cheap lcd screen on ebay, put a switch on it like the guy did, but find a really nice switch. I'll need the vid card though =\. I could just take it where ever I wanted without the monitor |
