Do you have any idea what the sound decibel rating is for the fans used in either model?

Couldn't find that info anywhere on their site or in the review.

How'd ya manage to get a a t-bird 1400@1575 to idle at 57C? Especially when the non-OC'ed t-bird 1200 was running at 59.5C???

Whats your secret? I can't get one of these 1.4 Ghz puppies to IDLE at 57C at the stock clock rate, much less running Seti for 1/2 an hour! This with a Thermoengine + ThermalTake 30CFM fan & TONS of airflow.

The T-Bird 1200 doesn't OC for squat. It was also unlocked when I got it...... which has been shown in the past the unlocked 1200's run hot. (almost like they are 1GHz's OC'd.)

Anyway...here's my 1.4 running at 1543 (10.5 * 147) right now with the side of the case off. This is the way it always runs.... either at 1543, 1575 (10.5 * 150) or 1620. Depending on the outside temp... SETI running 100% of the time.

Mucho Mucho Cooler..... boldpurpleboldpurple:boldpurple:

The Vantec cooler kicks ass.
