I appreciate nthelp making an effective demonstration of the webbug issue.

However, if I was a spammer, I am not living my life to spam. I enjoy reading great websites (shameless plug).
Second, I am a spammer(for the sake of this story), so I am CONSTANTLY trying to figure out new ways of getting guaranteed email addresses.

[sarcasm]WHOA! Take a look at this website! He is exposing my nefarious schemes! He is making a demonstration of how it works. He is creating a place where I can go to see my email address listed.

Hey! Looky here! A nice place to sit back and watch 100+ emails change every few minutes!

THANK YOU NTHELP! This is even better than my idea![/sarcasm]

Maybe he should have made his page only show the person testing.

What do you spam for? To promote your company? Your website?

How effective is it really?

(and no I'm not considering spamming people about LWD, I am just curious about how effective spamming actually is)

I was using an analogy for the sake of the story.

PLEASE DON'T HATE ME!!!!

I am just a network administrator. I even refuse to let our marketing people use our customer database for spamming!
