this weekend i may or may not be installing OS 10.3 on my step-mom's iMac DV (Summer 2000). i've read that you need to update the firmware on the system before installing os x.
is this true? why doesn't the os x installer install the firmware whilst installing everything else (maybe it can't?)? |

It is sugested that you update the firmware, if there are any, and the utility is in os 9 ............don't ask I don't work for Apple I just go to thier training seminars |
