Well first brush with apple tech support and its actually worse than most.

Issue netgear wireless router

Wireless works fine with intell or linux systems. Have tried for a full day now to get wireless to work on the powerbook. It authenitcates to the router (at least it says it does) but doesnt get an IP.

This guy is stuck on gui's and airport setup wizards but it doesn't see my netgear router doesnt auto pickup the IP. Manually I can set the ip but I cant even ping the gateway

Glad I didnt BLOW 349 for the extended
