Could someone copy and paste the standings if they get a chance? If not, no big deal. I only have 8 more hours to work till I can go home and check what place I'm in |

- up chukers 110-68-20 .606 5
- Southsiders 106-74-18 .581 10
- The Que Berts 95-81-22 .535 19
- Chucktown Nat-attack 90-78-30 .530 20

- Tyme Bandits 66-109-23 .391 47.5
- K-town Konvicts 66-111-21 .386 48.5
Last Week:

- up chukers 97-60-19 .605 3.5

Belleville Rednecks -1

The Que Berts -4
Roxboro Rejects -4
Therapists -6.5
Tyme Bandits -7
K-Town Konvicts -7
Chucktown Nat-Attack -8
Southsiders -8
Looks like the Hucksters are in the busienss of pulling surprises. Last night the score was tied 8-8 with the Nat-Attack and it looked like almsot all the teams woudl be gaining spots. Instead the Hucksters pulled an ace out of heir sleeve and grabbed five points in one night, which made all that movin on up end up as a nasty Modnay surprise. Looks like first place is going to be quite a challange to get, and if this continues, the Hucskters may just run away with it.
The ingury report:
Belleville Rednecks(2): D. Erstad, K. Wood
The Que Berts(5): T. Lee, T. Nixon, M. Ellis, B. Donnelly, A. Leiter
Chucktown Nat-Attack(3): R. Ibanez, K. Lofton, G. Anderson
Therapists(5): M. Giles, K. Mench, P. WIlson, T. Percival, N. Garciaparra

roxboro rejects(4): M. Grudzielanek, M. kata, L. Walker, V. Padilla
tyme bandits(4): R. Alomar, J. Gonzales, T. Salmon, W. Helms
c&c(3): M. Matheny, A. Petitte, D. Wells
K-Town Konvicts(3): S. Stewart, C. Everett, T. Spooneybarger
Looka like the ingury bug is pretty impartical, with only one tema with less than three inguries.
Sent to the minors/released:
The Que Berts: B. Kim
Well even though Mr. Kim is gone, the Que Berts are hoping ti wont be for long.

Looks like there's a slwodown in signigns this week, mostly either inguried or folks that were sent to the minors. Intresting that my former backup shortstop now ahs a new home. HOpefulyl he works out better there than he did here.
Trade Offers
anubis minions:
Carlos Delgado, 1B
Shawn Green, OF
Chucktown Nat-Attack:
Manny Ramirez, OF
Therapists:
Normar Garciapara, SS
Looks like the Hucksters are here to stay for a bit, but any worries about competition took a major hit this week. With the southsiders getting clobbered and the Hucksters making a surprise comeback, its' made getting first palce as easy as finding an honest politician. Barring a major crash by the Hucksters(which will require the Therapists to get otu of their slump) this coudl be a hard task to catch them.
Lets have a looks at the series from last week.
The Week that was
Predicted Finish: Belleville Rednecks 12 vs Bandits 8
Actual Finish: Belleville Rednecks 13 vs Bandits 7
The rednecks didnt disapoint as they cruised to the victory. While the Bandits hitting was able to keep nipping at their heels, their pitching just coudlnt keep up to the rednecks (thank goodness Prior is back).
Predicted Finish: Roxboro Rejects 11 vs The Que Berts 10
Actual Finish: Roxboro Rejects 10 vs The Que Berts 10
You'd think that the Rejects got a hold of the Hucksters handbook, as they pulled from behind in the dying seconds to tie the Que berts. And if I recall, its' the first tie as well. Guess I was right when I stated this series woudl be too close to call.
Predicted Finish: Punkytown Hucksters 11 vs Chucktown Nat-Attack 8
Actual Finish: Punkytown Hucksters 13 vs Chucktown Nat-Attack 5
Well when I say the luckier team woudl prevail, I got it right on the mark. The Hucksters seem to find ways to win no matter what the odds as they were the second team to pull a come-from-behind win to both secure the series and almost wrap up first place.
Predicted Finish: up chuckers 13 vs therapists 8
Actual Finish: up chuckers 13 vs therapists 8
Wow I shoudl start buying lottery tickets. The therapists are getting no love for the past few weeks and ahve already started looking into housecleaning their team to inject some life into their sagging fortunes. As for the upchuckers, this vistory was the only reason tehy're still in the hunt for first.
Predicted Finish: southsiders 11 vs minions 9
Actual Finish: minions 14 vs southsiders 6
All ive' got to say is wow! The southsiders must have gotten their fill as the minions are on a tear, beating their third front running team in as many weeks. They jsut might want to keep Delgado and Green on their roster after this streak of events, it seems to be working.
Predicted Finish: Knovicts 10 vs c&c 9
Actual Finish: c&c 13 vs Konvicts 7
Looks like the c&c is tired of losing as they got their bats hjot and went to town on teh konvicts, which had a decent showing in the batting catagory, but not goo enough to beat the c&c. Their pitchign didnt help either, as they werent even close to the c&c's staff.
The Week that will Be
Belleville Rednecks 12 vs command&conquer 7
WEll this series we've got two teams in teh secodn division, one tryign to turn a slump around, another riding a two week winning streak. Look for the rednecks to make it three, as they'll be a harder team to beat them what the c&c has run into lately.
The Que Berts 11 vs Tyme Bandits 8
The Que Berts seem to be having issues lately, losing the lead against the Rejects in teh dying seconds and getting handled by teh Hucksters teh week before. Look for them to finally get a series win, but not by much as the Bandits are slowly proving that they're not an easy team to beat.
Chucktown Nat-Attack 9 vs Roxboro Rejects 10
Normally I woudlnt be gooing for the Rejects in this one. But after their come-from behind poerforance and the Nat-Attack's failure to hold off the Hucksters last week, its' enough for me to pick the Rejects, but not by much.
Therapists 6 vs Puckytown Hucksters 15
This one is a no brainer. The Hucksters have been so hot tehy're givign the rest of the league a suntan. The Therapists have been mired in a three week slump, and barring a micrale, it'll be four.
Southsiders 8 vs up chuckers 13
In what coudl be billed as the battle for second place, this is two teams that are going in oppisite directions. Look for the upchuckers to try and keep the Hucksters honest by sending the southsiders further down the downward spiral.
Anubis Minions 16 vs K-Town Konvicts 5
Another easy one. the minions are the Hucskters of the second division, gaining three positions and tryign to get into the top six. The konvicts are jsut tryign to get something going. Look for the minions to keep up their winning ways and join the top six teams in the standings.
Well thats' the way I saw the league this week. Next weeks standings will be delayed till Tuesday due to me doing a road trip to PA for soem R&R. Then then, have fun and keep your eye on the ball! |

I am looking to add another big bat. My offense is a little weak.
I will entertain offers for anyone BUT the following players:
The Big Three (RJohnson, MMussina, CSchilling)
Danny Graves
MCabrera
MOrdonez
JKent
HMatsui
HBlalock
EChavez
Everyone else is fair game.
I am looking to especially move the following:
Arhur Rhodes
Jose Vidro
Orlando Cabrera
Marlon Byrd
Joe Crede
I would be willing to trade 3-4 of those guys for a solid hitter.
As far as what I have to offer. I have two quality catchers and would be willing to move one of them. I also encourage you to check out Sean Burroughs and Danny Bautista.
Private message me with offers or just make the trade offers on the page.
Peace. |

That's silly though. Trade one of your really good guys for a good catcher. We don't want 3-4 so-sos for one really good player b/c that takes up 3-4 of our spots where WE could fill with good players... |

Not if you are especially thin, or have a lot of injuries. Vidro and Cabrera are solid players slumping right now. Either one of both could step it up. So Vidro, Cabrera and one other guy of those 5 wouldn't be a bad deal for someome who needs something. But as I said, I am willing to trade a bunch. I guess no one is going to make an offer though. |

anubis minions -1.5
Tyme Bandits -4
Chucktown Nat-Attack -4.5
PuckyTown Hucksters -5
Southsiders -7
Well the huckster's luck has finally run out, with the therapists awaking from their long slumber and the upchuckers ending the southsiders good fortunes, the race for the lead has been transformed in a two pnoy race.
The ingury report:
Belleville Rednecks(1): K. Wood
The Que Berts(5): T. Lee, T. Nixon, M. Ellis, B. Donnelly, A. Leiter
Chucktown Nat-Attack(0):
Therapists(3): M. Giles, P. WIlson, T. Percival

Well this week saw a slight reduction in inguries, which is always a good thing. It was becoming an epidemic there for a bit

After some playes to improve offense
Well this week was a surprise. A combo of therapists awaking and the upchuckers manhandling the southsiders lead to a new leader fo the first tiem in almsot a month, and helped almost every team gain a little mroe ground for the lead.
Lets have a looks at the series from last week.
The Week that was
Predicted Finish: Belleville Rednecks 12 vs command&conquer 7
Actual Finish: Belleville Rednecks 11 vs command&conquer 7
Wow any closers and it woudl have been right on the money. the c&c are just not getting any love, as they edge closer to the bottom of the league. the Rednecks picked a good week to get a sizeable win as it helped them to advanced a few games.
Predicted Finish: The Que Berts 11 vs Tyme Bandits 8
Actual Finish: The Que Berts 14 vs Tyme Bandits 8
well the Que berts also seemed to follow the script, as they cruised into an easy win and help to put the bandits back at the bottom of the standings.
Predicted Finish: Roxboro Rejects 10 vs Chucktown Nat-Attack 9
Actual Finish: Roxboro Rejects 14 vs Chucktown Nat-Attack 7
The rejects are seemng to like this warmer weather, as its' waking up their game. With teh recent loss by the minions, the rejects are back as the leaders of the bottom six of the league.
Predicted Finish: Puckytown Hucksters 15 vs Therapists 6
Actual Finish: Therapists 13 vs Puckytown Hucksters 5
Geeze, who saw this one coming. The therapists picked the perfect time to step to the plate and hit one out of the park. Look for the Hucksters to be realing from the sudden reversal of fortunes and the rapists to take advantage of this radical swing to get back on track.
Predicted Finish: up chuckers 13 vs Southsiders 8
Actual Finish: up chuckers 16 vs Southsiders 4
Like the therapists, the upchuckers jsut seemd to know when to kick ti in high gear. Hmm wonder if they're working on cahoots. Either way the southsiders must be worried, since in two weeks they've gone from nipping at the hucksters heels to stuck in the middle of the pack.
Predicted Finish: Anubis Minions 16 vs K-Town Konvicts 5
Actual Finish: K-Town Konvicts 10 vs Anubis Minions 9
Looks like the Konvicts had the minions number, as the minions lose their first series in almost a month. Ironic that ti was against a non-top division team. Figure that one out.
The Week that will Be
Well this week they're wont be any predictions, mainly because it's almsot halfway through the week and they'd be scewed by teh stats that are already there. However look for the southsiders and the hucksters to put on a very close and intresting series.
And on that ntoe i'm off to do job hunting, from all of us north of the Great Lakes, good luck this week, and keep your eye on the ball. |

Trade Offers
I've clearned the ones that everyone had, mainly because i'm sensing that they're rpetty stale. If you do want to trade soemone and arent gettign any bites, let me know and I'll post it here.
After some playes to improve offense
Well this week followed the same script as week one with the exception fo the major come-from-behind win by the rednecks. What the heck lit a fire under their ass?! (and how can it stay that way :d )
Lets have a looks at the series from last week.
The Week that was
Last Time: Que Berts 9 vs Belleville Rednecks 8
This Time: Belleville Rednecks 13 vs Que Berts 4
Series Final: rednecks 21, QueBerts 13
Talk about a comback! The rednecks get revenge for the earlier squeaking this year, and peaked at the right time (aka sunday). this also gets them the series winf or the year. Gotta love bragging rights
Last Time: Chucktown Nat-Attack 11 vs command&conquer 7
This Time: Chucktown Nat-Attack 14 vs command&conquer 5
Series Final: Nat-Attack 25, c&c 12
One of the two teams to gain some ground on the up chuckers, the Nat Attack take the season series and gain some ground in the process. Not too shabby. The c&c need to get back to their winning ways as they inch closer and closer to teh bottom rankigns
Last Time: Therapists 17 vs Tyme Bandits 3
This Time: Therapists 11 vs Tyme Bandits 7
Series Final: Therapists 28, Bandits 10
The therapists just seem to have the Bandits number as they kept the bandits to the lowest series score by oen team and gain the series win.
Last Time: Southsiders 11 vs Roxboro Rejects 8
This Time: Southsiders 11 vs Roxboro Rejects 9
Series Final: Southsiders 22, Rejects 17
Wow those rejects sure are tryign to ditch that nickname. they kept the southsiders close, but didn ahve enough juice to pull ahead in either series, and hence the southsiders get the series win.
Last Time: Puckytown Hucksters 14 vs anubis Minions 5
This Time: Puckytown Hucksters 12 vs anubis Minions 8
Series Final: Hucksters 26, minions 13
The minions seem to have really hit hard times, and the this is great news for the hucksters. They get the series win with a commanding second performance and keep pace with teh up chuckers.
Last Time: up chuckers 15 vs K-Town Konvicts 5
This Time: up chuckers 12 vs K-Town Konvicts 8
Series Final: up chuckers 27, Konvicts 13
Loosk like the up chuckers are getting their way with their oppistion as of late, and the Konvicts are no exception. The up chuckers powered their way to another victory, and the series win as the cherry on the sundae.
And i'm off to get some early shuteye, gotta pester some IT managers to give me a job in Kingston. Good luck this week(me included hopefully), and keep your eye on the ball. |

He's back from that time consuming thing called life, and here to bring you....
The Weekly Report
Lets have a look at the standings, I think you'll like what you see.....ok I did anyways
This Week:

- Punkytown Hucksters 149-104-33 .579 7
- Southsiders 146-113-27 .558 13

The week before:
- up chukers 149-90-25 .612 -
- Punkytown Hucksters 138-93-33 .585 7
- Southsiders 132-107-25 .547 17
- Chucktown Nat-attack 123-104-37 .536 20

- Therapists 123-113-28 .519 24.5
- Roxboro Rejects 115-119-30 .492 31.5
- Belleville Rednecks 112-119-33 .487 33
- anubis' minions 111-124-29 .475 36
- command&conquer 95-139-30 .417 51.5
- K-town Konvicts 94-142-28 .409 53.5
- Tyme Bandits 88-146-30 .390 58.5
Gainers & Slackers:
Belleville Rednecks +4
Southsiders +4
K-Town Konvicts +3
command&conquer +2.5
anubis minions +1
PuckyTown Hucksters --
up chuckers --
Roxboro Rejects -1
Therapists -3
Chucktown Nat-Attack -4
Tyme Bandits -4
The Que Berts -4.5
There's quite a few gainers this week, but other than the southsiders, they're all in the second division. Looks like barring a massive slump, the up chuckers are sitting pretty.
The ingury report:
Belleville Rednecks(2): D. Ward, K. Wood
The Que Berts(3): J. Spivey, T. Lee, M. Ellis
Chucktown Nat-Attack(0):
Therapists(1): M. Giles
Southsiders(3): J. Beckett, E. Chavez, A. Rhodes
anubis minions(3): F. Catalanotto, L. Nix, H. Ramirez
up chuckers(3): O. Hudson, S. Casey, J. Borowski
punkytown Hucksters(4): G. Myers, T. Glaus, M. Mantei, H. Perry
roxboro rejects(7): J. Randa, V. Wells, K. Brown, C. Hammond, V. Padilla, S. Williamson, Z. Day
tyme bandits(1): J. Gonzales
c&c(4): P. Nevin, O. Perez, J. Kennedy, W. Miller
K-Town Konvicts(4): m. Mora, S. Stewart, B. Fuentes, T. Spooneybarger
Looks like the ingury bug is playing favorities still, and especially has a hate-on for the rejects. Wow, he needs to open a hospital ward.
Sent to the minors/released:
The Que Berts: B. Kim
Transaction News:
WOw not one transaction in the last seven days....I think everyone took off for the holidays
It looks like a lot, but remember its' for the last two weeks. WE also got our first trade (hooray!). It's not earth shattering, but its' a start
Trade Offers
None
The second division seems to be getting a second wind back, and that's bad news for the teams within earshot of the upchuckers, who have seem to have foudn a nice crusing speed and keeping the rest of us eating their dust.
Lets have a looks at the series from last week.
The Week that was
Last Time: Chucktown Nat-Attack 16 vs Belleville Rednecks 3
This Time: Belleville Rednecks 13 vs Chucktown Nat-Attack 5
Series Final: Nat-Attack 21, rednecks 16
These boys are on a revenge mission. The rednecks got payback for the earlier trouncing this year, and dominated the whole week. But the series win goes to the Nat-Attack, making it their secodn in a row.
Last Time: QueBerts 14 vs K-Town Konvicts 5
This Time: K-Town Konvicts 13 vs QueBerts 7
Series Final: QueBerts 21, Konvicts 18
Seems payback on previous spankings is the order of the day, as the konvicts surprised everyone (especialy the Queberts), by taking the rematch, but it wasnt enough to get the series win, as teh Queberts squeak by the with the series win.
Last Time: Therapists 11 vs c&c 9
This Time: c&c 12 vs Therapists 7
Series Final: c&c 21, Therapists 18
Looks like the c&c found the brakes for their losing slide and got soem payback in the process, getting the win and the series from the Therapits, who are just havign no luck at all.
Last Time: Tyme Bandits 12 vs Southsiders 10
This Time: Southsiders 14 vs Tyme Bandits 6
Series Final: Southsiders 24, Bandits 18
Make that two series wins in a row for the southsiders, who got some payback agaisnt the slumping bandits, who are slowing making last place all there own.
Last Time: roxboro rejects 14 vs anubis minions 6
This Time: anubis minions 11 vs roxboro rejects 9
Series Final: Rejects 23, minions 17
The minions won a squeaker against the rejects, keeping pace with the leaders, but unfortuneatly, it wasnt enough to get the series win as the rejects early season performance was enough to get the season series.
Last Time: Puckytown Hucksters 9 vs up chuckers 8
This Time: Puckytown Hucksters 11 vs up chuckers 11
Series Final: Puckytown Hucksters 20 vs up chuckers 19
In the first tie that I've seen in a while, the Hucksters jsut coudlnt get the lead and knock the chuckers down a peg, but they did get teh series win, by teh cloest score to date.
Well thats the news for this week, tuen in monday as we go back to our normal scheduele of news for the league. Till then, keep your eye on the ball. |

Roxboro Rejects -1
PuckyTown Hucksters -1.5
K-Town Konvicts -2.5
Therapists -4.5
Southsiders -7
The Que Berts -7.5
Tyme Bandits -8
Looks like the minions are back to their winnng ways, and the rednecks are red hot, as both teams join the first division, kicking the queberts and the therapists down to the secodn division.
The ingury report:
Belleville Rednecks(2): D. Ward
The Que Berts(4): F. Thomas, J. Spivey, T. Lee, M. Ellis
Chucktown Nat-Attack(0):

Whatever the Rejects did to tick off the ingury bug, it must have been really good.
Sent to the minors/released:
The Que Berts: B. Kim
up chuckers: R. Aurila
Transaction News:
7/11 D. Cabrera (Bal - SP) Add Free Agents Therapists
7/11 G. Rusch (ChC - SP,RP) Drop Therapists Waivers
Yet another slow week this week, as everyone gets ready for the stretch drive.
Trade Offers
Chucktown Nat-Attack:
Manny Ramirez
Belleville Rednecks:
Any starter other than Prior or Wood is available, make me an offer.
Looks like the minions and the rednecks have awoken from their slumber as they're red hot and aiming for the top. With the recent loss by the up chuckers the picture has become a bit cloudier, with the Hucksters within striking distance, and a nice logjam forming as only a 15 game difference seperates 3rd and 9th. Shoudl be a very intrestign finish :d
Lets have a looks at the series from last week.
The Week that was
Last Time: Therapists 10 vs Belleville Rednecks 9
This Time: Belleville Rednecks 15 vs Therapists 5
Series Final: Rednecks 24, Therapists 15
The rednecks are taking no prisioners, winning their third series in a row, taking the series win from the therapists, and making it to the first division. The therapists on the other hand are in a serious slump and have been knocked down to ninth
Last Time: QueBerts 10 vs CHucktown Nat-Attack 8
This Time: CHucktown Nat-Attack 13 vs QueBerts 7
Series Final: Nat-Attack 21, QueBerts 17
The Nat-Attack, not happy with last weeks upset, decided to take out their frustrations on the slumping Queberts, which have been getting no luck over the past few weeks and join the therapists as they head to the second division.
Last Time: Southsiders 15 vs c&c 6
This Time: c&c 12 vs Southsiders 6
Series Final: Southsiders 21, c&c 18
While the southsiders tried to make a comback it jsut wasnt enough as the c&c get their second series win in a row, denying a chance for the southsiders to get within striking distance of the front runners.
Last Time: Anubis Minions 12 vs Tyme Bandits 8
This Time: Anubis Minions 16 vs Tyme Bandits 4
Series Final: Minions 28, Bandits 12
The minions just seem to have the bandits number as they decimated them for the series win and a invite to the first division. The bandits just dotn seem to be getting any love this year.
Last Time: up chuckers 12 vs roxboro rejects 7
This Time: roxboro rejects 11 vs up chuckers 9
Series Final: upchuckers 21, Rejects 18
The upchukers were almost close to a sweep, but the rejects did another of their patented late hour comebacks, and kept from sinking too far in the standings. As for the upchuckers, that late minute comeback has teh Hucksters breathing down their neck again, never a good thing this late in the season.
Last Time: Puckytown Hucksters 17 vs K-Town Konvicts 4
This Time: Puckytown Hucksters 14 vs K-Town Konvicts 8
Series Final: Puckytown Hucksters 31 vs K-Town Konvicts 12
The Hucksters saw an opportunity to gain some ground and they took it, sweeping the series against the Konvicts, although they had to pull off a weekend comeback to do it.
Well thats the news for this week, Tune in for more baseball action as the final series continue. :d
PS: Well I've found out the yahoo folks do they're stat compiling very late, I did this at 4am last night and it still wasnt done(as you can tell by the recently updated stats) |

Rednecks,
Thus far in the season, I remain totally unimpressed with your one-sided trade offers... You offer decent players for all-stars... You want someone's best pitcher on their team you are going to have to start growing some balls and give me something for my best pitcher... like maybe one of your best hitters... It's like you giving me a $5 bill for me giving you a $100 bill... I don't think so, buddy...
At least I offered up one of my best for two of your decents... I notice you have not accepted or rejected... of course that is ok with me though b/c one of the guys I have offered has hit 5 home runs since I made that offer... |
