heh, its so weird going from dsl to 56k .. but anyway, ive havent used a winmodem in linux before, always used my net, but over here, im using a PCTEL 56k .. and .. to be honest, its damn fast, and i had really no problems getting it to work, its a 19$ modem .. jus thought i'd share, im impressed, ya it works faster in rh than it does in windows heh .. weird ..
