ahh for some reason the display on my laptop won't turn on. It stays dark. I tried turning on the brightness but nothing. It's like the lcd is on sleep mode , but if I look closely I can see the screen. Does anybody know what I can do. I've restarted. Turned it off and on, but nothing works.>>! |

I had that problem with my laptop. Of course, my laptop has been abused for quite a long time, and the plasic on the back is all busted up. Basically, I had to open the case around the LCD and plug the ribbon cable back in. It had come unseated. Pain in the arse process, but at least I can use my laptop again and just have to be careful about opening and closing the lid (I have to hold the screws in place on the left side) |
