|
I have an SMC router, one of the 7004ABR or something like that(Ill check when I get home from work) and when I try to update the firmware, no matter what version I use of the firmware it tells me it is an invalid file. I've already harassed SMC support and they just sent me a copy of the firmware.
Does anyone know a way to force a firmware update or force a reversion to an older version? I think the guy I got it from for 10 bucks fucked the install and thats why I cant update.
Any ideas guys? |

Any reason you need to update the firmware? I know just because I can is generally a good response though. |

Mainly, there are a few issues with my router not renewing an IP properly that I would like to remedy, but because I can is the primary reason. |
