hi

we have to use META data in our web page, then wait for clowlers to seek and read our META then put a link of our site in thier catigories in thier database.

but i dont want to wait for crowlers to seek and find my site.. they take lots of time!

so i want to put my site into their database by registring manualy

note: i want registration to be free

also please tell me tips to make my site the 1st result

Google for the phrase "search engine optimisation". That will give you plenty of reading material on the subject.

Also, feed your site through this one - http://www.spidertest.com/ - to give you an idea of what needs to be done.

First, Submit your site to Google, and they might have you listed in as little as 24 hours.

You can also add a Google Search Box directly on your site, that might help get you listed quicker.

Finally, you might consider adding meta names such as this:

<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="index,follow">
<META NAME="REVISIT-AFTER" CONTENT="4 days">

Which tells the bots to index the main page as well as all subsequesnt html pages, and specify how often they return.

I never did anything and all of my sites show up on Google on their own. Not sure if someone else did something for me, but yea....

For searches about me, my site seems to be top ranked. Mostly because it stays there for a long time and I let the bots poke through it.

Doesn't cost me anything more than I would pay otherwise. But then again I'm not trying to do anything unconventional.

The spiders visit through hyperlinks, so set up some affiliates with previously indexed websites.

They also trawl new domains I think as well, I noticed some Google spiders in my www.ninth-world.com weblogs.

I love that Google Search Box.... use it where ever I can..... I also got the code to use about 30 other search engines like that too........ it was an amusing prodject.......
