I've got 1 bad thing to say about apple.. Why on earth cant you buy PCI network cards off their site.
Yesterday i went to Microcenter, CompUSA, and the apple store trying to find a compatable PCI network card.. This really annoys me.. Finally after googling for a few hours this morning i found one..
I would think they would make them more available for people who want to do home routing or replace their broke ass nic's |

At least yours isn't on-board and can't be replace ( ) but the Airport wireless cards are the feature NIC interface of choice so those are easier to come by. Apple wants to push their wireless tech. |

panther doesn't support the 3com chipsets or DEC chipsets that are supported by almost every operating system on the planet? i don't have an apple desktop so i guess i don't know how pci/agp card compatibility is, but that's pretty lame that they don't support cards that even skyos can handle |

Yes but i ordered them because compatability reports said those specific cards work w/ no driver assistance needed on all their OS's |
