I'm having a strange problem where on certain machines here at work I can access the site www.ebay.com.au but on others i can only go as far as the main page - and when i click on any of the CGI links the browser errors with "the server returned an invalide or unrecognised responce" thats on ie4 0 on ie5 it give me error code 403.
Any ideas why some on some machince i can access the page but on others i can't? They are all win98 + satellite connections.
thanks. |

Error code 403 is when there is not a default page on the website folder you are looking in.
If you turn off "friendly error messages" in IE4, do you get the same error?

Nah nevermind it was some kind of strange error with the mixing of IE and our satellite software.. |
