Does anyone know of a fan controller that can handle a Thermaltake Smart Fan II? Those things suck a lot of juice and I'm worried that when I want to turn it down to a low rpm that it might fry the controller. |

Hmmm. I'm sure that Smokin is quite capable of finding his own fan controller, what he wants is one that will handle his hefty fans. That one tends to get very hot, I have found. |

Exactly. I consulted someone with a degree in Eletrical Engineering (Alphi) and he seems to think that the one BM posted will work. That Nexus was the one I was looking into but was hesitant to buy because of the wattage it can pump out. The reason I'm concerned is because when JustAnEngineer built his computer he used the a SmartFanII and hooked it up to the Fan Controller in his Thermaltake Laser caser and it ended up shorting out the controller. With that in mind, I don't want that to happen to me. |
