That is a pretty smokin' system. I bet it crunches the WU's pretty damn quick. Where abouts in Canada are you??

When using Win2000 I can finish off a WU in under 5 hours. And to answer your question, I live near Toronto...you?

I'm out west in Calgary. I've never even been to Toronto(Actually never been east of Winnepeg). Oh well, it's always good to run into another Cannuck.
Are you using the graphical SETI Client or the command line version. The command line is waaaaay faster. When I had my Celeron 2 566@850, switching to the command line version shaved off about an hour and a half. I was doing em in about 7.5 hours with the graphical version, and 6 hours with the command line version. My P3-700@700 does em in about 5 hours 20 minutes.

...And I've never been to Calgary (though I've been to Vancouver a couple of times). Yes, I'm using the nt-commandline proggie and the SETI driver with a cache of 10 WU's. This seems to work pretty well. I leave my computer on all the time, and just bump down the priority whenever I want to do something on it. It always has a fresh batch of WU's to work on, and can diligently go at 'em while I'm sleeping, working (yes I'm at work right now ), or whatever.

Using SETI Driver on my 'work machine' I cache 60 work units. Does anyone else cache more?

Holy Cow!! 60!! My crappy compaq work machine would take about a month to do 60 WU's. I have it cacheing 7(Enough to hold through the weekend), and my home machine has a permenant broad band connection, so it only has a cache of 3, just in case the SETI servers go down, then it isn't stuck with nothing to do.
