Ok well now that I have decent cooling and processor. The next step is to find a decent socket A motherboad, without going overboard on price. I have an xp 2400+ and Im gunna get some PC3200 ram and new mobo. What is a good Ram and MOBO? I need something within a good price range. Can you help me out?

Thanks

anything with dual ddr support (nforce2 mobo). I'd probably say the asus a7n8x. The non deluxe model is a little cheaper, but doesn't support sata and some other stuff that the deluxe model does. They have the new model of the board that has support for 400 mhz fsb bartons for 88 bucks US which is pretty decent I think.

I myself just went with the lowend ($69) Shuttle nForce2 Ultra 400 powered AN35N-Ultra (bells and whistles bother me) - the only thing I don't like is the power header right next to the drive connectors (everything worked out though) - wBig SmileBig Smilef!

I personally like the Biostar M7NCD. Never had a problem.

You can pick it up for under 60$
