This PC i am on is a little 233mhz and when it boots it says it is clocked at 233 which i guess is right..... right?..Now my other one see's the amd 1800+ but says it is clocked at 1533mhz... shouldn't it be 1800? |

That would be AMD's marketing. Your 1800+ is comperable to the competitions (Intel) 1800 mhz visa-vi but runs at a clock speed of 1533. |

i'd leave it alone, unless you have adiquate cooling and the know how to overclock the cpu. |

Experiment with overclocking the 233mhz first... You should be able to run the multiplyer to 2.5 and FSB to 100mhz. |

This brings back memories - I do believe 83MHz was the limit on my 166 - w f! |
