i have a belkin wireless pc card that worked fine til a few days ago;tried to reinstall the software but it won't recognize the adaptor or pc card;tried to uninstall and got message: severe: cannot load a component important. but it won't uninstall. please help me!! |

Have you any experience with the registry? It's possible to manually remove most things if you hunt for them. If you're not experienced with it, ignore this message... things can get mucked up REALLY quick when it comes to the registry.
If you are, you can search for things directly related to it, such as the model, or belkin, or ??? There's no hard/fast way to do it, as all installations are different.
Can you boot into safe mode and remove it?

Bum deal! I'd say your best bet is to find a local person who can handle that... unless someone else comes up with an idea, you're looking at manual removal. |
