Anyone know where I can find an online Overclocking for Dummies-ish guide (you know, approaching overclocking from a complete beginner's angle?). I'm clueless (like I've said so many times before) about overclocking, and most guides I've found so far don't cover the jargon enough before they barrage you with terms. As for the device 2B overclocked, let's say with an Athlon XP 2500+ Barton core? Smile

I want to learn this before I build my next comp. this summer, and I may want to tweak my old XP 2000+ up a bit if possible (as much as an Asus A7V333 could handle, anyways). Smile

Thanks! It's got a great article on overclocking!

EDIT - After reading a good portion of article (I had to go to class), I've decided it would be best to not overclock my current machine, but build a new one this summer with the intent of overclocking (so I can be sure to get "overclocking-friendly" parts and not risk any loss of important data on my current computer) Then I'll just use my old machine for Win98 games that don't work in XP, SETI crunching, and maybe run a webcam on it.

I've had my eye on that book for a while. I'm gonna buy that once I have a little more cash. Unemployed college students have to budget their monthly spending wisely Wink Smile
