I had to add another PC today so I don't drop out of the top 10 over the next few weeks. I now have SETI running on:
1 - Slot A Athlon 750 @ 840
1 - PIII 500
2 - PII - 400's
More as I can get my hands on em.  [} ]

Watch out people im on you tail.. I'm at 17 WU's... LOL!! Just added a 3rd machine lastnite and gonna ask my son to let me use his too. Machines as follows
Plll 800 oc'd 1032 (mine)
K6-2 /500 (Spare/server)
Pent 233(wifes)
Maybe a Pll 450 (Sons)(soon)
WU's are slow even on my Plll. Not sure why. On mine there taking an average of prob 8 hours and the K6-2 is way slow..All machines have 128+ megs so thats not the downfall.. Any ideas? I know you might feel threatened if you help me go FASTER!!!! [ ]
Oh and as soon as i get another MB i will add another Plll 500e @ 733

DAMMIT!!! I have no other computer to use. I have a P2 350 which can only run at night, cause it is useless for me to try and work on it when it is running SETI(Only 32MB RAM!). I have P3 700 kicken' em out, but I really have no other option. I am feeling like I am going to [XX(](Had to use a new animated smilie!!!)

Oops...one of those PII 400's is a really a PIII 450! (Sorry - it's one of my work PC's and I thoguht it was a 400)
So REALLY I have SETI running on:
1 - Slot A Athlon 750 @ 840 - 256MB PC100 RAM
1 - PIII 500 - 128 MB PC100 RAM
1 - PIII 450 - 64 MB PC100 RAM
1 - PII 400 - 128 MB PC100 RAM

Also i really don't notice it running at all when surfing or playing games.
Although i haven't played Q3 or UT with it running..

I was running the Seti Driver on 3 machines, and the graphical on my Athlon 840. I never noticed it either when I was gamin' it, but I switched to the Seti Driver on my Athlon last night, and look at my times now:

So to answer your question - Hell yeah!! It'll be much faster! I was averaging 7.75 hours with the graphical version...and now I'm under 5 hours!
I should have 20 or so to upload on Monday if things go as planned. [8D]

You got it.
My AMD K6-2 500 win98se Isn't doin too well at all.
The graphical was a lot faster. It is tellin me it is going to take 1 day 1.14 hours to complete 1 WU.
Wiffies P233 win95 is like 1 day 3.47 hours...
