its actually pretty easy.

step one
get hammer.

step two
hit keyboard.

thats all there is to it! your F1 key should never work again. Cool Smile

in all seriousness though, i don't really know how to do it. I think those shortcut keys are built into windows. Just like the [START]+r will open the run window. [CONTROL]+[ESCAPE] will open the start menu.

I'm sure there is a way, but i donno.

this doesn't really answer your problem, but i used to have this really dinky keyboard on one of my machines that was in a cramped place in the server room at my last job, and i was ALSWAY hitting the damn help key by accident

so i opened up that damn $3 POS keyboard one day, and broke the little plastic piece that pushed the key down, out of the keyboard. then i put it back together, and lived happily ever after !

afterall, it's not like i ever look at the help files anyway, even when something's messed up, it's easier/more relevant to find your answers ONLINE
