You know the funny thing is that when i tried to install redhat 6.0 i had the same problem with trieing to repartition the drive. I ended up getting Disk manager from Seagate (that was the drive i used) and it went ok from there. I was gonna Low-Level format the drive. I just ran the OS preperation dealie and I think it did something to the MBR (Master Boot Record) of the drive and the software was able to fix the problem. If i am wrong please let me know.
One there can only be
and i'm not it. ò¿ò |

There are a number of ways to remove the partition. My personal favorite if to have a Linux boot disk and use it's fdisk command to remove all partitions, then reboot with the 98 boot disk and partition it. You could also drop the drive into another Be machine or Linux box and delete the partitions that way. Partition Magic might also be able to help but I'm not sure about that.

BeOS needs an MMX grade CPU.
the easiest way to get rid of the Be partition is to boot from your Be CD, and run the partition manager, just turn the Be partition back to Fat32,(you'll have to "initialize" the partition) and VIOLA !
