What a great program!! It really makes SETI the type of program it should have been right from the beginning. It took me a few days to get it working, but now that it is going it is great. For those of you who missed the initial discussion about this the features of SETI Driver are: You can multiple download WU's at a single time. You can then process the units, and retransmit them at the same time. It also continues to process a cached WU, while it transmits the others, if there is one available. It also allows you to run the Command line client(Way faster than graphical) in a system tray icon manner. It also shows the progress of the WU on mouseover of the system icon. What a fabulous program, and the best part is it's completely free!!!
You can get it here:

If you can get it to work you will love it!!
Cheers

Okay, I have one problem to point out. The Time remaining estimates are horrible. It has pretty much stated that I have had 4:04 remaining, since it started that WU. For starters, I have never had a WU finish in 4 hours. Second, it has never changed, the total time just keeps climbing. Oh well, every other part of the program is tops. One little problem, that is a lot more than Microsoft can cliam.

It does have a few problems when it tries to estimate time to completion. I had a WU the other morning that was supposed to complete @ 8:45am, but it finished at 8:15am instead. It's really not that hard to setup. Just take it slow.
Hummer is right - the proggie kicks ass. I am going to be off work for the next 6 days, so I download 60 WU's today before I left, and next tuesday when I come in, they should all be done and can upload them. [ )]

OMG
Where did you find this thread?
I believe Hummer died a terribly lonely death in some blizzard off the coast of the North Pole last winter.
SU was last seen at a Tyson fight.
Fido is still around, part time anyway.

It's been about 20 years since I could cruise past the high school in good conscience...
oh well... to be 17 again... if I could have know then what I know now... but I remember what it was like to be 16 and full of raging hormones.
It's the bane of all us middle-age guys, the mid-life crisis.. you know, divorce the wife, buy a Corvette, pick up a 20-something bimbo, skip out on the job, move to Vegas, yada yada yada...
ya gotta know, we never grow up, we just get older.
