I think I speak for many when I say SBLive. The value is relatively inexpensive, driver updates are gauranteed for a while(I don't think Creative is going belly up anytime soon), and is reliable and compatible. I hear that the latest card from Turtle Beach is also quite good tho, if you want something none Creative.

If you decide to go with the Live card just be sure to download and install the drivers before you install "Live 3.0" More than likely you will get the BSOD caused from EMU10K1.vxd. When prompted with driver version keep your existing driver. Just a little hint if you go that route..Very Happy Personally i like the card.

One there can only be
and i'm not it. ò¿ò

The SB Live Value can be had for about 30 bucks, which makes it pretty attractive if price is an issue.

I would probably go with the Soundblaster Live Platinum 5.1. But that is just me. I would love to have the nifty Live Drive, and if money was no option, that is what I would get.
