Well,
Turkeyday has been and gone
and all I have to show for it, are:
a smoldering pile of ashes in the fireplace
a bunch of leftover turkey
some really pissed off customers (everyone who annoyed me this weekend was billable, and my rates are quite expensive during holidays )
and a whole bunch of hours invested in writing [ ]

Since I'm a flat bluberous blob of an excuse for a human I restrained myself to 1 small portion of T-day goodness. Watched the Lions spank some Partriot ass and then sat on my duff with the in-laws who are up from Alabama until Sunday, then went surfin'. Whoops almost forgot to mention my penchant for floggin' the monkey.

Since I have two jobs and work seven days a week, and it wasn't a holiday in Canada, I just got home from work. I am now going to crash for a few hours, get up and go back to work. I haven't had a day off for 40 some days, since Canada's thanksgiving. I can hardly wait for Christmas, I should be able to wheel and deal for two or three days off. mmmmmmmm sleep in.

Been back at work for about three hours now, and yes it sucks super hard ... except on payday(Which is the same day for both jobs). I love payday. My weekend job is just as the Zamboni driver at the local rink, and it is super slack. I get paid $10 an hour to sit and do nothing for 10 hours a day. I start work there at 6:00 AM, and am usually into my first paid nap of the day by 7:00. I get up at 8:00, do twenty minutes of work, and then sleep from 8:30 to around 9:45. The sleep isn't great(Usually on the workbench, or on top of the Zamboni), but I am still getting paid to sleep. The downside, not a lot of free time. The upside, student loans are getting paid of pretty quick.
