I've just got it and i tried to run it but it crashes as start-up i downloaded the latest patch (apparently there is a compatibility issue with winME that it fixes) well whne i try to run the update.exe to execute the new patch nothing happens Question

i click on go - but it just stays doing nothing Question

any ideas

un install it

reboot

fresh install

run the patch BEFORE you try to use MDK for the first time

How are you applying the patch?? When you start MDK2, you should get a dialogue box with a bunch of settings. From there you can select "Get Update." Here is a screen cap:

wow cool hummer thanks i was accually using the update.exe file - maybe thats where i was going wrong - i'll give that try when i get home Big Smile

No go hummer - i clicked on the get update button and it runs update.exe but i still can't direct it to the patch file Question
