My CD Burner doesnt seem to do anything when I burn stuff. For example, you tell Nero to copy a CD, this time Redhat 7.2, click all the right boxes etc., burn it... excellent "Burn Process Complete", now, try to read the CD, and "Please Insert a Disk into Drive D:", nothing there! bastard! Mad

Ive also tried burning using the biult in XP burning program but no luck there either. My hardware/software is:

Burner: Artec WRR-4848 48×12×48
Other: ECS K735 Mobo
Athlon Chip 1800+
256ram
2×40gig HDDs

Window$ XP

Any Ideas? Confused

Are you trying to burn a bootable cd? Is the Nero you are using registered to that exact model of cd burner? It is particular about it in many cases. When you try and read the cd is it behaving like there is no cd at all or is it treating it like it is a blank cd???

You didn't do a test burn, did you? Nero lets you simulate a full burn, to see if it'll work before doing it for real.
