i used to use that, but hte ftp upload system is flakey.. which is why i switched to ultraedit

actually, the biggest problem with a setup like this is that
invariably, you will never have the newest version of all of those "free" software packages! So if a bug-fix comes out, you need to wait till the new package is updated so you can update your install. This is generally a bad idea..

instead, install each of those by themselves, and that way you can keep up to date on each one...
