So what server do you play on - every damd time i try to play multi-player it takes me a year to download all these files(skins or maps i think) how can i speed that up?

I just tried installing UT last night and for some reason the file "engine.dll" is broke on the CD...damn, now I've got to go and borrow a copy from Fido.

Oh Fido, would you burn me a copy and I'll come by and pick it up lickety split?

Ok who's gonna host? Rover? Get your cable tuned yet?
Best to make a dedicated server so it won't lag toooo much.. Unless you have a really mean machine... Even then, dedicated would be the best..I can start one but ping for some is a little high..

Well I have 2 PCs and the one I would run dedicated is a P233@288 with 256MB...do you think that is fast enough?

Sorry I'll need to some help setting it up and I dont' have it installed nor a working CD yet. I'm using a Router for my Cable modem so I'm not sure how to set it up to let UT pass through. It will have to be someone else this weekend.

Have Spot host it . . . He already has all the bonus packs added

it's alot cooler if you can enable the good shit from the bonuspacks, so i'd recommend that we all play with bonuspacks . . . any dissenters there ?

Sorry i missed out sir . . . was tweakin Be at that time, and hadn't checked the forums

enabled = using the "mods" from the bonus packs as part of the game . . like relics and Fatboy and such (and the kickass maps)
