Anyone who's used TClock in Win2k knows that you can make your taskbar translucent. The effect is very cool.

I'd like to take this a step further and have translucent tooltips and menus. Anyone seen any proggies that can do this? Or anyone know the registry key responsible for the translucent taskbar?

Help will be rewarded with a big sloppy doggie-kiss.

I do believe that Open Source started the translucent window, am I wrong? Nice to see that MS is catching up. Smile

Just as a note.. w/ just windowfx, you won't be able to get all the stuff I'm using working..

I'm using windowfx, windowblinds, and desktopx to do all the weird stuff...

If all your lookin for is the menu transparency, you can get away w/ windowfx.. it's also what made IE slightly transparent.
