I'm quite sure this has already been covered somewhere...

I'd like to change my win98 boot logo, but it doesn't display like it was when I opened the edited version in PS/PSP, and the scrolling bar doesn't work either :(

Any links / experiences ?

logo.sys is the file you need to edit

as for the colors . . the progress bar rotates the last 6 or 8 colors in the pallette

there are plenty of freeware apps you could find that will do what you want really easily including letting you pick the colors for the progress bar

i'd head over to Cnet or Nonags or ZDnet

see what you can find

I looked for progrms to do this, and the only one that looked good is called kambialogo... but all the mirrors for have the wrong file, they're all another program's exe renamed to kambialogo's file name.

Does anybody know a good program to animate a boot logo?

Thanks for that info random1, it helped me some, but it didn't tell how to animate areas of the boot logo [ Sad
