This is the link to download it:

http://www.conxion.com/download/win2000platform/sp/sp2/nt5/en-us/w2ksp2.exe

This will get you a fine 101MB download of patches, fixes and more problemmakers for W2K

The link was screwed up while posting. Leave everything beginning with the first "

What? Undocumented features? It's unofficial. No documentation. No help. No cure.
I recommend ghosting your C: drive before installing it as there's no uninstall function yet.

BTW, what's this F.U.D thing?

MS here is a link to ActiveWin. It has a list of the known fixes with this service pack. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 530, and maybe more.

http://www.activewin.com/win2000/sp2bugs.shtml

Like you said it is the official release. Meaning it's not a beta or RC. The service pack was released to testers a couple days ago. This is what usually happens. Packs get put on servers and announced a few days later. Rumor is that it will be officially announed on Monday.

See Ya

I downloaded it over the weekend . . but it's not on my "production" box

threw it on my comm-server . . figured worst case scenario .. i'd be reloading that, or moving my modems over to the "production" box

it still wasn't "official" on the M$ site when I checked earlier

Could be my imagination, but seems to boot up a little faster now. Definitely sped up my Netware logon quite a bit.
