I found this the other day . . and finally had time to check it out tonite (now if only i could find which box the movers packed my damn modem in)
this is for USR modems . . if you have one you should check to see if you qualify

Again this is my expertese (spelling). With modems they are all inherently the same the only difference is firmware and drivers. All internal modems have the capabilities to do 56k with what ever V.x you want. Just a matter of tracking down the information on the modem and then implementing it.
