MS Outlook 2000 & font selection

Feel like an idiot but don't seem able to adjust settings to allow the preview pane to display in my favourite font Verdana 10/11

Also when I open email it always is something else (with serif) how on earth do I fix this problem. My eyes are not great & I really need to adjust font size & type as I have for all other msg panes.
Help really appreciated & appologies for dumb question.

For general appearance
tools -->options --> other --> advanced options

For Email
tool -->options -->mail format --> fonts

Do you have mouse with a scroll wheel? I have noticed that sometimes if you hold the control key, and spin the wheel in one direction or the other... you can change font size.

I dunnno man... give that a "whirl" (hee hee) and see what happens.

Other wise.... right click on the desktop, --> properties --> appearance.... play with the fonts there too....

outside of that... i'd say just turn your baby off... take a three hour nap. Turn her back on and see if it's all better.
